
Maryland Pride Night, Woodstock Night and Candy Drop on Tap for Weekend Series

FREDERICK, MD - The Frederick Keys kickoff a three-game series against the Fayetteville Woodpeckers on Friday, May 10. Running through Sunday, May 12, highlights include a Maryland Pride Night, Woodstock Night with a special jersey auction and Halfway to Halloween with a postgame candy drop. Maryland Pride Night is slated for Friday, May 10 with first pitch scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and gates opening at 6. Maryland Terrapins cheerleaders and Ravens mascot Poe will be in attendance to meet fans, while the first 1,000 patrons through the gates receive a Visit Frederick Carolina League All Star Classic t-shirt sponsored by Nymeo. Fireworks follow the game also presented by Nymeo.
With the calendar turning to May, Saturday's game moves to 6:00 p.m. with gates opening one hour prior. It is Woodstock Night and Keys players and coaches will be wearing a special Woodstock-themed jersey. This jersey is red and based off the famous Woodstock poster. Fans can bid on these through the LiveSource app with proceeds benefiting Sophie and Madigan's playground. A fireworks Super Show follows the game.
The series against Fayetteville concludes on Sunday at 1 p.m. It is Mother's Day at the ballpark and there is a special Mother's Day Brunch in the Mattress Warehouse Club. To book a spot, fans can call the Keys Groups Department at 301-815-9900.
Fans can also enjoy Halfway to Halloween which includes a postgame Candy Drop sponsored by Advanced Helicopter Concepts. After the game concludes, a helicopter with a payload of 300 lbs. of sugary sweetness will be dropped on the outfield grass. To go with this, it is also a Sunday Funday sponsored by Dogtopia of Frederick. Fans can enjoy a catch in the outfield from 12-12:30, while two players will be signing autographs on the concourse.

The Frederick Keys are the Advanced-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, and play their home games at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium. This goes to a team in the league which demonstrates franchise stability and significant contributions to its community and the league.
