BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Kelan Martin's last-second game-tying attempt fell just short as the visiting Salt Lake City Stars topped the Birmingham Squadron for the second night in a row at Legacy Arena, 110-108.

Birmingham (1-9) took a 105-104 lead with 1:44 remaining when Dereon Seabron drove to the basket and scored, but Salt Lake City (4-4) scored six straight to seal the game.

Feron Hunt paced the Squadron in the scoring column for a second consecutive night with a 24-point, 12-rebound double-double, while Martin notched 23 points on the night. In his first game back with Birmingham since being transferred from New Orleans Saturday morning, Seabron was responsible for 20 points.

Birmingham limited Salt Lake City's leading scorer Frank Jackson to just 18 points, but all five Stars starters, in addition to reserve Johnny Juzang, scored in double figures. Center Tyler Cook recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards.

The Squadron now turn to Tuesday's home contest against defending the NBA G League champion Rio Grande Valley Vipers. The game is set to be nationally televised on NBA TV with Blake Gardner and Rick Moody on the call and can also be viewed locally on My68 WABM.
