St. John's IceCaps News Release

ST. JOHN'S, NL - Eddie Pasquale stopped 44 shots but the St. John's IceCaps fell 2-1 to the Toronto Marlies Sunday afternoon at Mile One Centre.

Pasquale faced a steady diet of rubber all game long, including 19 shots in the second and 17 in the third. Bud Holloway scored late for the IceCaps to narrow the deficit to one, but a last minute rally fell just short.

Brett Findlay notched both goals for the Marlies in the final game between the two teams this season in St. John's.

With his third period tally, Holloway now has seven points (2G, 5A) in his last four games, while Charles Hudon's assist gives him four points (2G, 2A) on his current three-game point streak.

The IceCaps begin a six-game road trip Wednesday in Syracuse against the Crunch (8:30 PM NT). Catch all the action with Brian Rogers at www.stjohnsicecaps.com, 930AM and www.ahllive.com.

The IceCaps' next home action is Friday and Saturday, March 4 & 5 versus the Albany Devils. Tickets are available at the Mile One Centre box office (12-5 daily) and online at www.mileonecentre.com.
