JJ Khaira and Andrew Miller each had a goal and an assist for the Condors as Anders Nilsson made 21 saves in net as Bakersfield won a season high 5th straight game.
Each team fired 11 shots on goal in the first period but the Condors were the only team to find the back of the net. Andrew Miller (12th) fired home a rebound past goaltender Aaron Dell after great puck pressure by the Condors in deep at 15:55. San Jose trailed 1-0 after 20 minutes of play.
Bakersfield outshot San Jose 7-4 in a scoreless second period of play as the Condors took a 1-0 lead into the second intermission as Aaron Dell had 17 saves.
The two teams combined for five goals in the third period on 16 shots on goal. JJ Khaira (8th) finished off a 2-on-1 at 7:06 to give the Condors a 2-0 advantage. Ben Smith (6th) charged the net at 12:05 and put home a John McCarthy rebound past Anders Nilsson to get the Barracuda on the board. Ryan Hamilton (15th) fired home a cross the slot pass at 16:20 to put Bakersfield back up by a pair of goals. But the Barracuda would not pack it in as Ben Smith (7th) struck again at 18:50 with the extra attacker on the ice to cut the lead to 3-2.
