
Marlies announce 2006-07 exhibition schedule

Toronto Marlies News Release
The Toronto Marlies announced today their four game exhibition schedule which is set to begin on Wednesday, September 27 at the Oshawa Civic Auditorium. The Marlies will host the Hamilton Bulldogs - AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens - one year to the day after defeating their provincial rival in the team's inaugural pre-season game in the same building. Game-time is 7:30 p.m.
The Marlies will travel to upstate New York to face the Rochester Americans - AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres and Florida Panthers - at the ESL Sports Center on Friday, September 29 at 7:35 p.m. The two-game trip continues the following afternoon when the Bulldogs host the Marlies at Woodstock, Ontario's Southwood Arena at 4 p.m.
The Marlies conclude their exhibition schedule when they host Rochester at 12 p.m. on Monday, October 2 in the second annual "A Safe Schools' Game" presented by The Canadian Safe School Network at Ricoh Coliseum. Last year's game attracted over 3,000 students from various schools across the GTA to help the team launch their anti-bullying message campaign.
