
March Madness Hits Harbour Station

SAINT JOHN, NB â The Saint John Flames skate into their biggest weekend of the season at Harbour Station as they host the AHL leading Hamilton Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 7 on Raise the Roof with KD Night and their Canadian Division rival Manitoba Moose at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 8 on Thunder Stick Mania Night. The Flames are asking their fans to come out and show their support by making noise.
The weekend games also mark the return of Mike Martin's Auction for Cancer Research. Fans attending Friday and Saturday's contests will have a chance to bid on several items including a Calgary Flames autographed replica jersey. Six items will be auctioned off at each game. See the attached list for specifics.
FRIDAY, MARCH 7
Friday night's game versus Hamilton is also Coin Cabinet Night. All fans will receive a free NHL trading card and have a change to win great prizes throughout the game, compliments of The Coin Cabinet.
Fans are also encouraged to help Raise the Roof with KD by bringing a box of Kraft Dinner to make noise with throughout the game. All KD will be collected after the game and given to local food banks. Fans will also be able to make a donation and receive a box of KD at the game.
SATURDAY, MARCH 8
Saturday night's game versus Manitoba is Thunder Stick Mania Night. The first 3,000 fans arriving at the game will receive a pair of Thunder Sticks compliments of the Government of Canada to make some noise and cheer on the Flames.
The Saint John Model Airplane Flying Club, the pilots of the Subway Blimp, will also have a display setup on the concourse next to Kids Corner during Saturday's game. Stop by the display and get a glimpse into the world of Model Airplane Flying.
Tickets for Friday and Saturday's games and all remaining Flames regular season home games are currently available at the Harbour Station Box Office, the Imperial Theatre Box Office, selected Irving locations (Main Street West, Champlain Heights, Millidgeville, Marr Road, Hampton and Grand Bay), and Charge-by-Phone at 657-1234 or 1-800-267-2800.

The 2002-03 season marks the Saint John Flames' tenth as a member of the American Hockey League and as the primary development organization of the National Hockey League's Calgary Flames.
