Maple Leafs Announce Roster Moves

Toronto Marlies News Release


The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Sunday that the team has assigned 18 players to the St. John's Maple Leafs of the American Hockey League and four players to the Memphis River Kings of the Central Hockey League. Carsen Germyn (Red Deer of the Western Hockey League) and Chris Barr (Spokane of the WHL) have been released to their junior clubs. Rob Palahnuk and Vaclav Zavoral have agreed to terms on American Hockey League contracts and have been assigned to St. John's and Memphis, respectively.

A total of 30 players remain with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The team will participate in the Toronto Maple Leafs' Charity Golf Classic at the Lionhead Golf and Country Club in Brampton tomorrow.
