The Gateway Grizzlies announced Monday that the hit television show, Man vs. Food will make an appearance at GCS Ballpark Wednesday, July 22nd.

The show, which airs on the Travel Channel, will feature host Adam Richman taking on "Baseball's Best" Burger and Nachos.

"Baseball's Best Burger" consists of a quarter pound burger topped with sharp cheddar cheese and two slices of bacon. The burger is then placed between each side of a Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnut.

The nachos, which were introduced for the 2009 season, feature a bed of tri-color tortilla chips, topped with seasoned philly beef steak, flame roasted onions and peppers, then smothered in Monterrey Jack cheese sauce.

Both items can be found at the Great Grizzlie Grill, located down the third base line at GCS Ballpark.

"The food at GCS Ballpark has been inspired by the likes of Luther Vandross, Tony Funderburg and Joey Chesnut, all great Americans," said Steve Gomric, Grizzlies General Manager. "I'm excited to have the Travel Channel come out to try these inspirations. I hope they enjoy them as much as our fans and staff have throughout the years."

Gates to GCS Ballpark open at 5:45 p.m. with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
