Kalamazoo Kings News Release
The Kalamazoo Kings exacted some revenge on Windy City with a 14-6 beat down of the defending champs. Finally getting the Thunderbolts in Kalamazoo for the first time in nine games, the Kings' bats came alive by scoring in each of the first three innings to take a 7-0 lead. After Windy City came back with five of their own, the Kings put together a seven run bottom of the sixth to put the game away. Eight of the nine starters knocked in a run with Scott Billak & Josh Short each collecting three hits. Brendan Murphy, Jett Ruiz and Simon Williams each homered as well.
