Sweep

Slippage

Last weekend's sweep dropped the Mallards out of second place in the ECHL's Midwest Division and into a tie for third place with Cincinnati while the Fuel moved past the Mallards into the second spot.

On the Road

The Mallards have started a stretch of five straight road games 0-2-0. The Mallards last won an away game when they defeated the IceMen 2-1 in Evansville on January 16.

They fell behind 2-0 three minutes and 14 seconds into Friday's game and allowed the only goal of the first period the following evening.
