Knight Recalled by Iowa

MOLINE, Ill. - Forward Jared Knight has been recalled from the Quad City Mallards by the American Hockey League's Iowa Wild, the Mallards announced today.

Knight, 24, played for the Mallards last Friday and Saturday against the Indy Fuel after being assigned to the team last Thursday. The 5' 11", 200-pound Battle Creek, Michigan, native scored while making his Mallard debut in Friday's 2-1 loss in Indianapolis. Knight has scored once and added five assists in 31 games with Iowa this season.

The Mallards return to action on the road Friday night against the Kalamazoo Wings. The Mallards next play at home Wednesday, February 3 at 6:35 p.m. against the Rapid City Rush.
