PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL along with the Greenville Road Warriors, proud affiliate of the New York Rangers and the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, today announced Jeff Malcolm is the CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Oct. 20-26.

Malcolm was 2-0-0 with one shutout, a 0.50 goals-against average and a save percentage of .977 in two appearances last week.

The 25-year-old made 22 saves to record his first pro shutout in a 3-0 victory against South"ˆCarolina on"ˆFriday and followed that up with 20 saves in a 5-1 win at Gwinnett on"ˆSaturday.

A native of Lethbridge, Alberta, Malcolm is 2-1-0 in three appearances this season with a 2.00 goals-against average and a save percentage of .922.

Under contract to Hartford of the American"ˆHockey League, Malcolm has seen action in 30 career ECHL games with the Road Warriors posting an overall record of 15-10-3 with one shutout, a 2.81 goals-against average and a save percentage of .913. He appeared in seven games during the 2014 Kelly Cup Playoffs with a record of 3-4, a 2.67 goals-against average and a save percentage of .912. He has also appeared in six career games with"ˆHartford.

Prior to turning pro, Malcolm played four seasons at Yale University, appearing in 67 career games with a record of 36-21-4, six shutouts, a 2.60 goals-against average and a save percentage of .907.
