TONIGHT
Bakersfield and Ontario meet for the second time in three days as the Condors open up the home slate of the season series. It is the second of four consecutive meetings between the two sides as the week caps off with a Saturday meeting in Bakersfield and a Sunday afternoon contest in Ontario. Bakersfield will play Ontario four consecutive times from 3/27 - 4/3 as well. Overall, the teams will meet 14 times in 2014-15, split evenly between Bakersfield and Ontario.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
The Condors picked up their first road win of the season on Sunday in Ontario, 3-0. LW Josh Winquist scored his first pro goal in the first period and followed it up with his second later in the period. C Connor Jones capped off a three-on-two rush in the second period to push the lead to 3-0. G Aaron Crandall, making his first start in a Condors sweater, earned his first pro shutout with 23 saves.
It was the second straight loss for Ontario, after opening the season with a three-game sweep of Alaska. G Jussi Olkinuora got the start and made 24 saves on 27 shots.
CONDORS NOTES
Bakersfield went 7-4-1-1 against Ontario last season... LW Josh Winquist has points in three straight (2g-3a) and was the Condors nominee for ECHL Player of the Week... Bakersfield has held at least a two-goal lead in five of six games this season. They have scored the first goal of the game in four of six games...G Aaron Crandall is now 5-2-0 as a pro dating back to six starts with Alaska last season... The Condors will be without leading scorer RW Jonathan Lessard who left Sunday's win and did not return...C Josh Currie turns 22 tomorrow.
