Wheeling Nailers Power Hour Returns with New Location
October 28, 2014 - ECHL (ECHL)
Wheeling Nailers News Release
WHEELING, WV- The Wheeling Nailers, proud ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadiens, have announced the return of the Wheeling Nailers Power Hour.
Every Monday from 6-7 PM, Radio Broadcaster DJ Abisalih will host a one-hour radio show, live from Stadiums - Home of Pizza, Burgers, Subs. The show will begin with a recap of the games from the previous week, as well as a preview of what's to come that week. DJ will be joined by two players each week, who he will interview about a variety of topics both on and off of the ice. Fans will be able to get involved as well, by tweeting in their questions either before or during the show. Following the show, players will be available to mingle, sign autographs, and take pictures.
"I am looking forward to another fun season of the Wheeling Nailers Power Hour, as I believe it gives the fans an opportunity to truly learn about the players, when they aren't skating up and down the ice at blazing speeds," Abisalih said. "Stadiums - Home of Pizza, Burgers, Subs will be a terrific place for the show, as the restaurant has a sports theme, the food is outstanding, and the location is perfect for those who live in the Wheeling area.
Fans unable to make it out to Stadiums - Home of Pizza, Burgers, Subs will be able to tune into the show on the flagship home for Wheeling Nailers Hockey, Eagle 107.5, or online at eagle1075.com.
The first edition of the 2014-15 Wheeling Nailers Power Hour will take place on Monday, November 3rd.
After a quick trip to Reading on Thursday, the Nailers will return to WesBanco Arena on Saturday at 7:35, for another battle with the Royals. For tickets and more information, call (304) 234-GOAL or visit wheelingnailers.com.
