Maine Celtics News Release

PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Quirk Chevrolet, today announced that center Magnum Rolle has rejoined the team.

Drafted by the Red Claws in the first round (3rd overall) of the 2010 NBA Development League Draft, the 6-11, 235 lb. Rolle was sidelined by a knee injury after just two games with the Red Claws.

"Magnum worked hard during his rehabilitation from surgery," said Red Claws President and General Manager Jon Jennings. "I want to recognize the great work that Mercy Hospital, Dr. Sarah Shubert of Falmouth Orthopaedic Center and Trainer Ben Pringle did to get Magnum back playing this season. In his short time with the Red Claws before his injury, he had quickly become a fan favorite, and I know Crustacean Nation is as excited as we are to see him back in a Red Claws' uniform again."

The addition of Rolle brings the Red Claws' roster to ten as the team heads into a three games in four nights stretch. Rolle is expected to be in the lineup tonight as the Red Claws face the visiting Dakota Wizards during "Faith and Family Night". Tip off is at 7 PM, and there will be a special pregame concert at 4 PM with the Christian rock band Disciple. On Friday, the Red Claws will host the Iowa Energy at 7 PM during "Irish Night", and on Sunday, the Springfield Armor will make the trip north for a 1 PM tip off on "Superhero Day." Great seats remain for the games and may be purchased by calling 207-210-6655, online at www.maineredclaws.com or in person at the Red Claws offices. The Box Office at the Portland Expo will also open three hours before each game.
