
Mad Ants Recognize McDonald's High School Basketball Players of the Month

FORT WAYNE, IN (February 28, 2014) - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants and McDonald's have partnered to recognize two outstanding high school basketball players in the Fort Wayne community. In February, McDonald's and the Mad Ants selected Justin McCoy and Kendall Fincher as the McDonald's High School Players of the Month. Both players will be recognized at an upcoming Mad Ants home game.
Justin McCoy, a junior at Garrett High School, has helped lead his team to a 13-5 record on the season. Justin is leading the Fort Wayne area in scoring by putting up 21.2 points per game and 6.7 rebounds per game. His best game this season came in a win over South Adams where he tallied 30 points and grabbed 7 rebounds to lead his team.
Kendall Fincher, a senior forward at Canterbury High School, has led her team to a 17-4 record, including a sectional championship. She recently eclipsed the 2,000 point mark for her career. She is also leading the Fort Wayne area in scoring by averaging 27 points per game to go along with 9.7 rebounds per game. She is committed to play at Xavier University.
