Winnipeg Goldeyes News Release
WINNIPEG - Winnipeg Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced today that the baseball club has completed a three-way trade with two teams outside of the American Association.
The Goldeyes have sent the rights to lefthanded starting pitcher Jason Mackintosh to the Chico Outlaws of the North American League for the rights to outfielder Tim Rodriguez. The Goldeyes then traded Rodriguez to the Normal Cornbelters of the Frontier League for a player to be named later.
Mackintosh, 30, went 1-6 for the Goldeyes in 10 starts last season and had a 5.52 ERA. His contract was purchased from the Maui Strong Warriors of the Golden Baseball League midway through last season.
Season tickets and nine-game mini packs for the 2011 season are available by calling the Goldeyes office at 982-BASE (2273) or visiting www.goldeyes.com.
