Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release

SHREVEPORT, La. - The Shreveport-Bossier Captains have unveiled their championship logo to be used in 2011, commemorating their 2010 American Association title.

The design, by AllSports Marketing of Sparks, Md., shows the Captains head logo in the middle of a white starburst in a gray circle with the year 2010 around it in red. The circle is in turn surrounded by a black and red band with the team name, and the words American Association Champions in a red banner below the head.

The logo will be featured on various Captains publications during the upcoming season as well as be available for fans to own on souvenir shirts and caps, which will go on sale before the season at Fair Grounds Field and online at the Captains' ebay store.

"Jeff Wilkinson and his staff at AllSports did a great job designing this logo," Captains VP/General Manager Craig Brasfield said. "I am looking forward to seeing it all over Shreveport this spring and summer."

The 2010 American Association Champion Shreveport-Bossier Captains thank all of the people who made the 2010 regular season such a success.
