
MacIntyre Named Goaltender Of The Week

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that goaltender Drew MacIntyre has been named the Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for the week of March 13-19.
Drew finished last week with a 3-0-0 record , a 0.99 goals against average, and a .962 save percentage. With Toledo this season, MacIntyre has a 21-7-2 record to go with a 2.10 goals against average and a .925 save percentage. Drew ranks second in the entire ECHL in GAA. MacIntyre, a 2001 selection of the Detroit Red Wings, just collected his second Storm shutout of the season against Trenton on March 17th. Logan Koopmans was the last Storm goaltender to win the award and did so for the week of November 15-21, 2004.
The next Storm home game is this Friday night against the Dayton Bombers.
