M-Braves and Blue Wahoos Washed out on Saturday

PEARL, MS - Saturday night's game between the Mississippi Braves and Pensacola Blue Wahoos has been postponed due to heavy rains. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Monday, Aug. 19 at 5:30 pm when Pensacola returns for another series at Trustmark Park. Sunday's series finale will remain as a 5:05 pm start against the Blue Wahoos.

Fans with tickets to Saturday's game are allowed to exchange them for any of the M-Braves remaining regular-season home games at the Trustmark Park box office. Princess Night will be rescheduled to a future date.

LHP Joey Wentz (4-7, 4.34) will start on Sunday for the M-Braves against RHP Jorge Alcala (5-6, 6.15). First pitch is scheduled for 5:05 pm CT with coverage beginning at 4:50 pm on 103.9 FM, First Pitch App. and TuneIn Radio. The game will also be streamed on MiLB.tv (subscription required).
