Lynx get Latulippe from Salmon Kings

The Augusta Lynx have acquired forward Jay Latulippe from the Victoria Salmon Kings in exchange for future considerations, the team announced today.

Hailing from Saratoga, NY, the former Clarkson University teammate of current Lynx Ken Scuderi was dealt to Victoria from the Dayton Bombers but did not report to the club, and was in turn dealt to Augusta. The rookie left wing turns 24 tomorrow.

Appearing in 52 games with Dayton this season, Latulippe (la-TOO-lip) recorded 12 goals and 33 points along with 62 minutes in penalties. He also played five games during the 2004-05 season after leaving Clarkson with the Johnstown Chiefs, notching an assist and two minutes in penalties.

While with Clarkson, the 170 lb, 5-10 Latulippe totaled 45 goals and 103 points in 146 games over four years. He is expected to dress for the Lynx when they take on the Grrrowl in Greenville today at 2:05 pm.
