OTTAWA - The Lynx fell below the .500 mark with a 3-1 loss to Durham Friday. With one game to go, the Lynx record stands at 6-7-3.
Fabio Castro got the start for the Lynx and shut the Bulls out over his 3.0 innings. Eude Brito came in and kept Durham scoreless in his 2.0 innings, allowing only one hit. Yoel Hernandez was not so lucky, allowing 3 runs, 1 earned, over 1.2 innings pitched. Jeff Farnsworth (1.1 innings) and Brett Harker (1.0 inning) kept the Bulls at bay for the rest of the game.
Chris Coste had 2 hits and scored the Lynx only run. Ryan Fleming also had 2 hits for the Lynx. Chris Roberson, Gary Burnham and former Lynx Lou Collier rounded out the Lynx offence with a hit apiece.
The Lynx wrap up the preseason with tomorrow's game against Durham. The Lynx will travel North to Ottawa for Media Day April 4th in advance of their April 6th game in Rochester.
