The Buffalo Bisons were defeated by the Toledo, 13-6, Friday afternoon from the spring training home of the Detroit Tigers in Lakeland, FL.
Infielders Hector Luna (2-3, R, HR, RBI) and Luis Rivas (1-4, R, HR, RBI, BB) both homered in the loss. Luna's blast was his second in the three games as he also went deep on Tuesday against Round Rock.
Jason Beverlin (0-1) took the loss, allowing seven runs in two innings. Jim Ed Warden struck out four while allowing a run in two innings pitched.
There are just 6 days until the Bisons open up the 2007 Season against the Richmond Braves on Thursday, April 5 at Dunn Tire Park (3:05 p.m.).
