Lynx rookie Seimone Augustus, who came into the game as the league's second highest scorer, led all scorers with 24 points to go along with a career-high eight rebounds. Fourth-year center Vanessa Hayden came off the bench for Minnesota and contributed 18 points and eight rebounds while Tamika Williams and Nicole Ohlde chipped in with eight points apiece. Mercury guard Diana Taurasi, the league's highest scorer, was held to 13 points.
