SACRAMENTO, CALIF., June 29, 2006 - The Sacramento Monarchs today announced that the organization has waived guard Chameka Scott.
The Monarchs invited Scott to Sacramento for training camp in April. She appeared in two preseason games with the Monarchs playing seven minutes in the May 4 game versus the New York Liberty and playing five minutes in the May 9 game at Albuquerque versus the Connecticut Sun. Scott was placed on the Monarchs inactive list on May 20, 2006. The Monarchs roster now stands at 12, with nine veterans and three rookies.
