
Lynx Activate Aerial Powers

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has activated guard Aerial Powers and in a subsequent move, released guard Kayana Traylor from her hardship contract.
Powers, a 5-11 guard, returns to play after being ruled out since June 14 with a sprained ankle. Prior to her injury, Powers played in seven games this season, averaging 5.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.4 assists in 9.7 minutes of play.
In eight games with the Lynx, Traylor, a 5-9 guard, averaged 1.0 points, 0.4 assists and 0.3 steals in 4.4 minutes per game for Minnesota. In her best contest this season on July 12 against Dallas, Traylor tallied a career-high four points on 2-of-5 from the field. She added one rebound and one steal in 19:27 minutes of play from the bench.
Powers is listed as probable coming into tonight's game against the Los Angeles Sparks. Tip is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. CT and will air on Bally Sports North and Amazon Prime Video.
