
Brittney Griner Moves into Second on Mercury's All-Time Scoring List

Phoenix Mercury center Brittney Griner moved into sole possession of second place on the franchise's all-time scoring list in the second quarter of tonight's game against the Chicago Sky. Griner passed DeWanna Bonner (4,820 points), accomplishing the feat in just 272 games compared to Bonner's 335 in a Mercury uniform. She now trails only Diana Taurasi, the league's all-time scoring leader, on the team's franchise chart.
