
Lugnuts playoff tickets on-sale Thursday

LANSING - The fist-half champion Lansing Lugnuts have announced that tickets for the 2008 Midwest League playoffs at Oldsmobile Park will go on-sale Thursday, June 26th at 10:00 a.m..
Tickets will be available for all possible home games throughout the playoffs. Lansing's first home playoff game will take place on Thursday, September 4th at 7:05 p.m. against the second-half wild card winner in the Eastern Division. It will be the second game of the best-of-three series, with game three happening the next evening if necessary at Oldsmobile Park.
The September 4th game will also be a Labatt Blue Light Thirsty Thursday, with beer and soda on-sale for just $2.
"It's always exciting to have the chance to host any playoff game," General Manager Pat Day said. "We have a great team this year and they have earned the right for home field advantage, so we want our fans to come out and help make Oldsmobile Park the loudest it can possibly be as we go for our third championship."
Tickets for all playoff games will be priced the same as regular season tickets: $7 for lawn seats, $8 for reserved seats, or $9 for box seats.

The home playoff schedule will go as follows:
Round 1 - Eastern Divisional Playoffs
Game 2: Thursday, September 4th at 7:05 p.m. vs. 2nd-Half Wild Card
Game 3: Friday, September 5th at 7:05 p.m. vs. 2nd-Half Wild Card (if necessary)
Round 2 - Eastern Division Championship (Team with best overall record receives home-field advantage for games 2 & 3)
Game 1: Saturday, September 6th vs. Round 1 winner
Game 2: Sunday, September 7th vs. Round 1 winner
Game 3: Monday, September 8th vs. Round 1 winner (if necessary)
Round 3 - Midwest League Championship
(Eastern Division receives home-field advantage)
Game 3: Thursday, September 11th vs. Western Division Champion
Game 4: Friday, September 12th vs. Western Division Champion (if necessary)
Game 5: Saturday, September 13th vs. Western Division Champion (if necessary)
