Louisville Doubles Lynx 4-2

The Lynx suffered their second loss in a row, falling 4-2 to the Louisville Bats.

The loss drops the Lynx record to the .500 mark (10-10) while the Bats improve to .500 (12-12).

Player Of The Game: Leadoff man Chris Roberson sparked the Lynx with two hits and his team-leading 15th run batted in.

Game Recap: Starting pitcher Zack Segovia had a tough start, allowing a run in the top of the first inning. But the Lynx came back in the bottom of the 2nd inning to square the score at 1-1. Chris Coste reached base on a walk and was promptly moved over to 3rd base on Jim Rushford's double. Brennan King then brought Coste home with an RBI single to tie the affair a one run apiece. Louisville regained the lead in the top of the 3rd, but couldn't hold that lead. In the bottom of the 5th inning, Carlos Leon led off with a walk and was sacrificed over to 2nd base by Zack Segovia. Chris Roberson drove Leon home with an RBI single, but the Lynx offence couldn't muster anything else. The Bats, on the other hand, put up single runs in both the 6th and 7th inning to put the finishing touches on a 4-2 win.

Next Game: The Lynx look for revenge against the Louisville Bats in the second of a four-game series Wednesday night at Lynx Stadium. Game time is 6:05 pm..
