
Louisville Bats Homestand Highlights (May 7-May 14)

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville Bats will begin their second homestand of the 2012 season Monday, May 7 at 6:35 p.m. at Louisville Slugger Field against the Norfolk Tides, Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. The back end of the eight-game homestand will feature the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies led by National Baseball Hall of Famer, manager Ryne Sandberg.
The eight-game homestand is highlighted by the Budweiser Game Time Happy Hour on Thursday, Boy Scout Night and fireworks on Friday, Kids Clinic and The Zooperstars on Saturday and Mother's Day on Sunday.
On Mother's Day, ladies 16 and older may purchase a field reserved tickets for just $5 each. There will be a mini-spa set up in the Jackson Street picnic area for manicures and pedicures along with T-shirts for kids to write their personalized messages to their moms. Kids and their moms will also be allowed on the field after the game to play catch.
The Bats are in their 13th season at the downtown ballpark and have averaged 9,114 fans per game since its opening in 2000 through the 2011 season and have totaled over 7.7 million fans over 12 years. Last year, the Bats ranked second in all of Minor League Baseball in attendance at 8,716 fans per game.

Regular hours at the Louisville Slugger Field box office and for ordering tickets by phone are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
