
Loons and Chiefs Postponed by Rain

Great Lakes Loons News Release
The Great Lakes Loons have announced the postponement of tonight's game between the Loons and Peoria Chiefs at Dow Diamond due to rain. The game will be made up as a doubleheader tomorrow, April 19, with Game One beginning at 5:35pm and Game Two starting 30 minutes after the first game's conclusion. Gates will open at 5:00pm. Per Midwest League rules, both games will be seven-inning contests.
Persons holding tickets to the postponed April 18th game may redeem them for tickets of equal or lesser value to any other game during the 2007 season, based on ticket availability. These tickets must be exchanged in person at the Loons' ticket office at Dow Diamond. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm, and on game days from 9am until the game's conclusion. Persons with tickets to the April 19th game will be admitted to both games of the doubleheader. Great seats are still available for the Loons' April 19th doubleheader against Peoria and to Friday's series finale by calling 989-837-BALL or by visiting www.loons.com.
The Loons' College Night, sponsored by Saginaw Valley State University - originally scheduled for Wednesday - will be held during Thursday's games, and will feature the first-ever Loons College Olympics.
