June 9, 2018 - Southern League (SL1)
Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
After being mauled for five straight games, the Lookouts went to work in the first three innings scoring six of the seven runs in the 7-4 win at Montgomery last night. Edgar Corcino would empty the basses with his triple and then scored on Brian Navarreto's double taking a three to nothing lead. In the third inning James Ramsey clouted a two run homer and Tanner English singled in Navarreto again for the six zip lead. Omar Bencomo would toss eight of the nine innings with just three strikeouts but kept the bats silenced in the win. Montgomery would make a short run in the ninth and then Tyler Jay shut them down for the final two outs. Sunday RHP-Koh Stewart (3-3/5.98) will face RHP-Sam McWilliams (1-2,6.92). Air time on 96.1 is set for 5:50 EDT AND on MiLB.com.
