The Chattanooga Lookouts only managed one hit in their 4-1 loss to the Knoxville Smokies.
For the first five innings, Smokies starter Tyler Schlaffer no-hit the Lookouts. With one out in the sixth, Edwin Arroyo broke up Schlaffer's no-hit bid with a double off the wall to plate Dominic Pitelli, who reached on a walk.
Knoxville provided run support for their pitching staff with two runs in the third and two more in the seventh. Pablo Aliendo hit a solo home run, and Joseph Nwogu went 3-for-3 after replacing Jaylen Palmer.
Tomorrow, the Lookouts aim for their first win in the series with T.J. Sikkema on the mound. As a starter, the lefty is 3-1 with a 3.16 ERA. First pitch is at 7:15 p.m.
