Lookouts Nab 11-10 Walk-Off Win

Lookouts infielder Ivan Johnson hit a game-winning sacrifice fly in the ninth inning to give the Lookouts the 11-10 win over the Tennessee Smokies.
Tennessee jumped out to an early 4-0 lead with a run in the first and three in the fourth. Chattanooga struck back in the bottom of the frame on a two-RBI single by Nick Northcut and added one more on a Jacob Hurtubise RBI.
The Smokies had a 6-4 lead in the bottom of the sixth, but the lead disappeared quickly. Daniel Vellojin led off the inning with a solo homer. The team promptly loaded the bases on a hit-by-pitch and two straight walks. Rece Hinds launched a triple off the wall to clear the bases and give the Lookouts the lead. Alex McGarry then hit a single to drive home Hinds and make it 9-6.
Down 10-6 the Smokies tied the game up on a bases-clearing double and a RBI single. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, Hurtubise led off with a walk and scored the winning run on a Johnson sacrifice fly.
