Long Island Ducks Game Postponed

Long Island Ducks News Release
(Central Islip, N.Y., July 8, 2011) - Friday's (July 8) game between the Long Island Ducks and Somerset Patriots has been postponed due to inclement weather. Ticket holders for Friday's (7/8) game can exchange their tickets at the Bethpage Ballpark Box Office for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any future 2011 regular season home game, subject to availability.
Friday's game will be made up as part of a single admission doubleheader on Sunday, July 10 beginning at 5:05 PM, with each game slated for seven innings. Game one of Sunday's doubleheader will begin at 5:05 PM, while the second game will begin approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the opener.
The Ducks continue their series against the Somerset Patriots on Saturday night. Game time is slated for 7:05 PM, with the Bethpage Ballpark gates opening at 6:05. Following the game, all fans in attendance will be treated to a Grucci Fireworks Extravaganza, presented by Bethpage. Mark Diapoules gets the start for Long Island against Somerset's Derell McCall.
Tickets to the game and all upcoming games are available at the Bethpage Ballpark Box Office, over the phone at 631-940-TIXX, or online at www.liducks.com. Fans unable to make the contest can follow all the action live on the radio at MyCountry 96.1 FM, with Chris King calling the play-by-play. Streaming video and audio via iBN, the Internet Broadcast Network, will also be available online at www.liducks.com by clicking the Watch Live icon on the hompage.
