
Long Balls Launch Aces to 9-1 Win

FRESNO, Calif. - Aces batters combined for five home runs on Saturday night, en route to a 9-1 victory over the Fresno Grizzlies at Chukchansi Park.
Brad Snyder was excellent at the plate, going 4-for-5 with two doubles and two home runs. The slugger drove in three runs and scored three times in his first multi-homer game of the season. Ed Easley, Mike Jacobs and Juan Rivera also homered in the win.
The Aces scored in six of the first seven innings, with the second inning the only scoreless frame in the stretch. The club collected 12 hits on the night, including eight for extra bases.
Reno struggled defensively, committing four errors to tie their season high.
RHP Matt Wright threw 5.0 shutout innings to collect his second win of the season. He struck out five and allowed just four hits in the outing.
The series continues Sunday night at Chukchansi Park. RHP Mike Bolsinger (5-5, 4.05 ERA) will get the nod for Reno, while the Grizzlies will counter with RHP Mitch Lively (6-5, 5.03 ERA). First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m., and all of the action can be heard live on KPLY 630 AM.
