Local Coach Wins the Home Depot Contest

The Guelph Storm is excited to announce that local Minor Hockey Coach Scott Hoffard has won The Home Depot 'On the Bench' All-Star contest.  Scott has won the ultimate coaching experience - standing 'On the Bench' at the Bell Centre during the 2009 NHL All Star Weekend in Montreal!

One winning minor hockey coach was randomly selected from entries accepted across Canada by various teams sponsored by The Home Depot including Major Junior, Junior A, CIS and AHL teams.

The Home Depot 'On the Bench' experience will include return air travel and accomodation as well as the opportunity to sit in on the live-to-air Coaches Round Table discussion including All-Star NHL coaches.  Scott has also won a private dinner with Montreal Canadiens alumni and private breakfast with one of the two NHL All Star coaches.  Later on Saturday, Scott will have his picture taken with an NHL All Star Coach 'On the Bench'  prior to the open practice which he will later attend. 

The Home Depot 'On the Bench' experience will be capped off with tickets to attend the NHL Super Skills competition including the Young Stars game, an exclusive All-Star Saturday night party and tickets to the 57th NHL All-Star Game at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

The Guelph Storm would like to thank everyone that entered the contest.
