
Julian Cimadamore is First Star in 6-1 Win Over Battalion

The Kitchener Rangers claimed a 6-1 victory over the Brampton Battalion in their first home game after the holidays.
Matt Duchene opened up scoring in the game at the 3:48 mark of the first period to put the Battalion up 1-0. The Rangers, Julian Cimadamore tied the game after he banged in a rebound at the 5:19 mark.
Kitchener controlled the second period netting five goals within a span of ten minutes of play (10:23 to 19:01). Cimadamore started things off when he buried his second goal of the game at the 10:23 mark. T.J. Battani and Tyler Randell each followed with a power play goal, Steve Lock and Ben Shutron closed out the period after both netting a goal. Cimadamore assisted on Battani's and Lock's goals.
The third period remained scoreless.
The Kitchener Rangers return to action this Friday, January 2nd at 7:30pm when the Ottawa 67's visit.
