
Llanos Returns to Cougars

GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars, in conjunction with the Kansas City Royals, has announced that Cougars outfielder Alex Llanos has been activated from the disabled list and has re-joined the Cougars, while outfielder Runey Davis has been released by the Royals organization. This afternoon's roster move keeps the Cougars at 25 active players as the team opens a three-game series against Cedar Rapids tonight. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark.
Llanos (6th Rd, 2008) was placed on the disabled list in April 17, and played in seven games this season for the Cougars before suffering a left hand injury.
