Livingston Powers Stampede Past Jam, 91-86

(Bakersfield, Calif., April 4, 2008) - Randy Livingston scored 26 points as the Idaho Stampede held off the Bakersfield Jam, 91-86 in NBA Development League action Friday night at Rabobank Arena.

Idaho (32-14) had to erase an early 10-point deficit as Bakersfield started strong in the first quarter. The Jam led 27-17 after the first period before the Stampede started chipping away. Luke Jackson scored 12 of his 17 points in the second stanza to help Idaho storm back, knotting the score at 44-all going into intermission.

The Jam stretched its lead back out to as many as nine points in the third period, but Idaho reeled them back in to take its first lead of the game, 64-66, on a Livingston 3-pointer. Livingston scored 14 of his game-high 26 in the final 32 minutes, including a 27-footer as time was expiring to seal the win.

Patrick O'Bryant, on assignment to the Jam from the Golden State Warriors, scored a team-high 22 points to lead Bakersfield. O'Bryant also grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked seven shots. Justin Reed added 17 points, and Mateen Cleaves scored 12 points and dished out 6 assists for the Jam.
