FRIDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Friday's D-League games
v Dahntay Jones led the way for the Mad Ants with 32 points and eight rebounds while Earl Calloway chipped in with 20 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists as Fort Wayne beat the Skyforce in Sioux Falls.
v In his first game back from the Miami Heat, Kasib Powell scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, while David Elliott led the team with 22 points.
v Randy Livingston scored a game-high 26 points for Idaho, to go with six assists and six rebounds as Cory Violette and Luck Jackson each scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the win.
v On assignment from the Golden State Warriors, Patrick O'Bryant scored a team-high 22 points for Bakersfield in the loss.
v Kevin Kruger scored 28 points and James Lang contributed with 15 points and 12 rebounds for Utah in the Flash's win.
v Anaheim's Mo Charlo scored 26 points and Marcus Campbell finished with 15 points and 14 rebounds for the Arsenal in the loss.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS...a look at D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games
Thirty Two players with D-League experience competed in 11 NBA games last night, five as starters. Here are the highlights:
v Andray Blatche scored 17 points and collected 7 rebounds in 25 minutes for the Washington Wizards.
v Golden State's Kelenna Azubuike finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds in a 39-minute start, while CJ Watson scored nine points in eight minutes.
v Ramon Sessions scored 11 points and dished out seven assists in 31 minutes for the Milwaukee Bucks.
D-LEAGUE PLAYOFFS 101: The 2007-08 D-League Playoffs will begin shortly after the regular season concludes on April 12 and will consist of three rounds. The first two rounds are single elimination, while the Finals will be a best-of-three series. The three division winners, as well as three wild card teams, will qualify for the 2008 D-League Playoffs. Tie breakers are, in order, head-to-head record, winning percentage against teams over .500, and point differential. The two division winners with the best records will receive byes in the first round.
