The BC Lions (10-7) host the Calgary Stampeders (14-3) on Friday, November 1 at 7:00 pm presented by Nissan.

The Lions bring their 19-2 post-renovation BC Place record into Friday's tilt against the CFL's top-rated team and do so coming off a convincing 43-29 win over the Edmonton Eskimos last week. The Stamps meanwhile got a late major from Jon Cornish to defeat the Saskatchewan Roughriders last Saturday to lay claim to first place in the West.

Despite having their playoff seeding set two weeks ago, the Lions will be a determined and focused group heading into Friday's game as they look to hit the postseason on a high note and prepare for a difficult Western Semi-Final tilt in Regina on Sunday, November 10.

Buck Pierce will get the start under centre Friday night, but the Lions lineup will also feature the return of Travis Lulay who has been out of action since suffering a shoulder injury on September 15.

Linebacker Adam Bighill who earlier today, picked up nominations as the club's Most Outstanding Player and Most Outstanding Defensive Player, will go head-to-head Calgary's Outstanding Player nominee Jon Cornish in a regular season finale that might have implications down the playoff road.

Halftime of Friday's game will feature the club's annual Salute to Veterans. Fans in attendance are encouraged to remain in their seats to pay tribute to these distinguished men and women.

All of Friday's fun starts at 5:00 pm on the Terry Fox Plaza with the BC Lions Street Party presented by Nissan. In addition to balloon figures, the Lions inflatable, face painting, poster making, interactive games and a performance by 2013 Felions, fans will also be treated to great live music courtesy of Mick Believe and Tongue.

Tickets in the Gemstone Gridiron Deck ($30) and Freshslice Family Zone ($25) are available at Ticketmaster.ca.

Season tickets for 2014 are on sale now! Whether you're renewing your current seats or signing up for 2014, there's no better time than right now to take advantage of discounts, great prizing and an opportunity to lockdown your seats for the 102nd Grey Cup.
