Chicago Wolves News Release

The Chicago Wolves announced Wednesday that defenseman PETTERI LINDBOHM has been returned on loan.

LINDBOHM, who was recalled on Feb. 18, rejoins the Wolves following his most-recent stint with St. Louis (NHL). He has compiled three points (2G, A), 26 penalty minutes, and a -1 plus/minus rating in 23 games with the Blues this season.

The 21-year-old ranks as the team's top rookie producer and holds the third-most points among Wolves defensemen with 17 (6G, 11A) in 41 games. He is third among team blueliners with a +5 plus/minus rating, first with 56 penalty minutes, and tied for first with 96 shots on goal.

The Helsinki native is in his first season in the North American pro ranks after two years with Assat and Jokerit in the SM-liiga. He was selected by St. Louis with its seventh pick, 176th overall, in the sixth round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

The Wolves kick off the final month of the season with a home-and-home set of Amtrak Rivalry games versus Milwaukee. After hitting the road to face the Admirals at 7 p.m. Friday, the Wolves return to Allstate Arena to close out the weekend with home matchups against Milwaukee at 7 p.m. Saturday and Iowa at 3 p.m. Sunday.
