Rockford, IL- This Friday night, December 10, Rockford's starting point guard will be featured on Spike TV at 8 p.m. Stais Boseman's Morningside High School team was featured in the 1993 documentary, "Hardwood Dreams", and now, Spike TV catches up with Boseman and his teammates in "Hardwood Dreams 2." Just punch up Channel 32 on your Insight Cable remote control for Spike TV.
The original "Hardwood Dreams" followed Boseman and his Morningside High School teammates in his senior season, chasing after their second consecutive state championship. The documentary explores the team's trials and tribulations, not only on the hardwood, but also in their inner city neighborhood of Los Angeles. Narrated by acclaimed actor Wesley Snipes, "Hardwood Dreams 2" revisits Boseman and his teammates 10 years later to see what happened in their lives and how their dreams as high school basketball players match their reality.
Catch Boseman and the rest of the Rockford Lightning, as they host the Sioux Falls Skyforce on December 9th. Game time against the Western Division leading Skyforce is at 7:05 p.m. with halftime entertainment provided by the Dance Education Center.
