
Skyforce weather the Storm

Birch Run, MI (December 8, 2004) â The Great Lakes Storm lost the game tonight against the Sioux Falls Skyforce 125-105 (6.0, 1.0) to move to 4-5 on the season. It marks the first loss at home for the Storm as they are now 3-1 at the Birch Run Expo Center. Sioux Falls moves to 8-1 on the young season.
The Skyforce came out on fire as they jumped out to a 19 point lead as former Storm player DeSean Hadley had 19 points himself in the quarter. It was much of the same in the second quarter as they finished the half with a 28 point lead. They shot a blistering 65.1% from the field along with 13-for-13 at the foul line. The Storm would show some fight in the third quarter as Mark Jones scored 14 of his team high 32 point in the third quarter as the Storm salvaged one quarter point. The Storm would cut the lead to 15 but Randy Livingston continued to come up with timely assists and the Skyforce eventually prevailed. The Storm's next game is on Friday, December 10th against the Michigan Mayhem. Tip-off is set for 7:05 at the Birch Run Expo Center.
