Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

In a battle of division leaders, the North-leading IronPigs (74-49) play Game 2 of a four-game, home series against the West-co-leading Indianapolis Indians (66-57) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 6-5 walk-off victory last night, the Pigs snapped a two-game skid overall and a four-game losing streak to the Indians. Along with a Scranton/WB extra-innings loss to Norfolk, the Pigs' Magic Number to clinch their first-ever North Division title was trimmed to seven... Lehigh Valley has won 26 of its last 39 contests and owns a 45-24 record since June 3 -- going from 0.5 games back to 10.0 games ahead... The Indians -- Pittsburgh's top affiliate -- have dumped six of their last seven games after sweeping the Pigs at Victory Field from Aug. 7-9 -- during which time their lead over Columbus has gone from 4.0 to 0.0. Still, Indianapolis own a 41-30 record after falling to a season-low water mark at 25-27 on June 1.

LHP Cole Irvin (11-4, 2.85) will start for LHV against RHP J.T. Brubaker (7-3, 3.12).

Tonight features Friday Night Fireworks, presented by TD Bank... First-Pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
