Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The first-place IronPigs (57-37) play the finale of a three-game series against the Columbus Clippers (49-45) at Huntington Park... With a 10-6 victory yesterday, the Pigs won their fifth-consecutive game to start 2-0 on this seven-game, West Division road trip. The surging Pigs, who maintained their franchise-record/season-high, 6.5-game lead over Scranton/WB in the IL North, have won nine of their last 10 contests and own a 28-11 record since June 3. Lehigh Valley also improved to 20 games above .500 for the first time since Aug. 6, 2017 (67-47)... The Clippers -- Cleveland's top affiliate -- have dropped back-to-back affairs after a season-high-tying, four-game winning streak. Still, Columbus has posted an 11-6 record since June 28... Next up is a four-game set at the Toledo, which has dropped four of its last five contests and is just 14-23 since June 7.

RHP Tom Eshelman (1-7, 6.32) will start for LHV against RHP Stephen Fife (3-5, 6.59).

First-Pitch tonight is 7:05 p.m.

The Pigs continue to own the IL's best record, as they hold a 3.0-game lead on Durham (54-40)
