Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The first-place IronPigs (34-25) play Game 2 of a three-game series at BB&T Ballpark against the Charlotte Knights (26-34), who took the first meeting in Allentown (2-1) from May 29-31... With a 2-1 victory last night, the Pigs have started 4-0 on this six-game, South Division and have won five-straight contests overall. After starting the season at 8-10, Lehigh Valley is 26-15 since April 27... The Knights -- the White Sox top affiliate -- need a victory tonight to have a chance to extend their season-high, series winning streak to five. After starting 17-29 though May 24, the Knights have won eight of their last 13 contests -- winning all four series in the span.
RHP Ben Lively (1-2, 2.86) will start for LHV against LHP T.J. House (1-6, 5.97).
First-pitch is at 7:04 p.m.
*With their win and a Buffalo loss, the Pigs extended their lead in the North to a season-high, 3.5 games -- their largest lead in first since owning a 3.5-game lead on June 24, 2017
