Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release


The IronPigs (27-25) embark on an eight-game, South Division road trip and play Game 1 of a four-game series against the South Division leading Charlotte Knights (28-26) at BB&T Ballpark... With a 5-3 win last night, the Pigs took the home series from Norfolk, 2-1, and finished 2-4 on their six-game homestand. The Pigs have now dropped seven of their last 11 games after an 8-1 stretch from May 12-20... The Knights -- the White Sox top affiliate -- defeated Syracuse 5-3 last night to sweep the three-game home series. Since May 9, the Knights have gone 15-9 after starting the season 13-17.

LHP James Russell (1-1, 1.47) will start for LHV against RHP Erik Johnson (2-1, 3.21).

First-Pitch tonight is at 7:05 p.m.
