The IronPigs (4-5) play Game 1 of a two-game series against the Syracuse Chiefs (5-4) at Coca-Cola Park. With a 3-0 shutout of Rochester yesterday, the Pigs swept the two-game series with the Red Wings and improved to 2-2 on this six-game, North Division homestand... The Chiefs -- Washington's top affiliate -- lost 2-1 at Scranton/WB yesterday to drop the four-game set at PNC Field, 3-1. Prior to that series, the Chiefs had started their season at 4-1 -- including a sweep as a doubleheader as the home team at Coca-Cola Park on April 8... Following this series, the Pigs embark on an eight-day, nine-game North Division road trip.

RHP Mark Appel (1-0, 0.00) will start for LHV against RHP Austin Voth (0-0, 0.00).

Tonight is a Dollar Dog Night featuring $1 hot dogs all game long, presented by Berks Foods... First-Pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
